The Annual Art Exhibition was held on Thursday 6th
June and was a huge success. We were inundated with visitors who were all very
positive about the work on show.

Students had worked very hard making sure their work was
exhibited to its best advantage. It had
been a very sunny day and there was a lovely ‘party’ atmosphere with visitors
enjoying the summer evening. Rotherham
Advertiser took lots of photos and were very impressed with the high standard
of the exhibition. Feedback was very
positive with visitors loving the variety from typography to portraits,
sculptures, installations, photography, textiles and abstract work.

The moderator had visited earlier in the day and had
confirmed the level of work was more akin to Degree show than GCE show. We have been lucky enough to have some
exceptional talent this year, with many students progressing onto acclaimed
universities such as Cambridge and Newcastle to study Art or Architecture. We feel very proud knowing we have helped
launch such confident and creative talent into the World of Art. Our Art students are an absolute credit to
TRC and have worked very hard with some great achievements. Many thanks to all
the staff who took the time to come and see our exhibition. Your support is
very much appreciated. We are already looking forward to a great show next
year!
