Francisco de Goya

Goya is a Spanish Artist famed for his PORTRAITS and his gruesome images of the Spanish Civil War

Goya produced a series of Etchings called 'Disasters of War' which focussed on the depraved acts commited by both sides of the conflict to illustrate the futility of the war and the high level of human suffering inolved:
